WHATS BODILY INJURY LIABILITY COVERAGE? Bodily injury liability coverage protects you from financial responsibilities resulting from an accident that was your fault where an involved party (other than yourself) sustains bodily injuries. In NY the minimum required bodily injury limits of liability are $25,000/$50,000 ($25,000 per occurance, $50,000 aggregate). Coverage can be purchased all the way up to $1,000,000/$1,000,000
WHATS PROPERTY DAMAGE COVERAGE? Property damage coverage will protect you from financial responsibilities resulting from an at fault accident where you damage someone else’s property. The state minimum required limit of coverage is 10k. Coverage is usually provided at limits of 10k, 25k, 50k or 100k
WHATS PIP? PIP, or Personal Injury Protection, can potentiall cover your medical expenses resulting from an automobile accident regardless of fault. PIP can be used to cover the cost of ambulance transportation, surgical procedures, nursing treatment and possibly even loss of wages due to injury.
WHATS MED PAY? Medical payments coverage, or “Med Pay”, similarly to PIP can cover you or your passengers’ medical expenses resulting from an automobile accident regardless of fault. Med Pay will not cover you for loss of wages.
WHATS COMP? Comprehensive coverage, or “Comp Coverage”, covers your vehicle repairs or replacement for losses due to fire, theft, vandalism, flood, hail or collision with an animal.
WHATS COLLISION? Collision coverage will help to cover the cost of repairs or replacement of your vehicle in the event of a collision regardless of fault.

WHATS COVERAGE A – DWELLING? Dwelling coverage A is the limit of insurance for repairs made to the insured property in the event of a loss due to a covered peril.
WHATS COVERAGE B – OTHER STRUCTURES? Other structures coverage B is the limit of insurance for repairs made to any detached or attached structure, which is not the primary dwelling, in the event of a loss due to a covered peril.
WHATS COVERAGE C – PERSONAL PRIOPERTY? Personal property coverage C is the limit of insurance for the repair or replacement of personal belongings on the insured property in the event of a loss due to a covered peril. This includes coverage for furniture, televisions, clothing, electronics & more.
WHATS COVERAGE D – LOSS OF USE? Loss of use coverage D is the limit of insurance for the reimbursement of additional living expenses incurred in the aftermath of a loss by a covered peril. this includes reasonable cost of housing and living expenses as repairs to your property are being made.
WHATS COVERAGE E – PERSONAL LIABILITY? Personal liability coverage E is the limit of insurance for the cost of legal defense in the event of a liability claim. If someone slips on your icy sidewalk and tries to sue you for bodily injury, coverage E will help with legal defense fees.
